北京时间9月10日晚，第十二届全运会乒乓球比赛打响决赛的争夺。男单方面，头号种子、北京名将马龙经过7局激战，以4-3险胜16岁解放军小将樊振东，首夺全运会的男单金牌。这也是马龙继混双之后，在本届全运会收获的第2金。
大满贯得主李晓霞与队友陈梦激战7局，最终以4-3艰难战胜对手，夺得了个人的首枚全运会女单金牌。已经拿到世界冠军大满贯以及亚运会女单冠军的李晓霞，就此拿便国内外所有大赛冠军，成为女乒继邓亚萍、王楠、张怡宁之后的第4位全满贯得主。山东队则收获继女团后的第2金。
团体赛方面，解放军将男团金牌收入囊中，山东则将女团冠军收入囊中。
